then this is the post for you!
general permissions
tej is half cetagandan, which means that she has an excellent sense of smell/hearing (among things like perfect pitch and an affinity for languages). but what this means for your character is that tej can pick up things like arousal, fear, and other emotional states. how good is her sense of smell? she can make an accurate guess at someone's sexuality based on their arousal and the smell of other people on them. it's ridiculous, i know. what's even more important is that she can pick up on emotional states that your character is unconscious of!
one of her powers is power nullification, which is touch based and completely opt in!

vorkosigan permissions
tej's canon point is directly after her marriage to ivan, which means she's coming it with as little specific information about the majority of the cast as possible. but, because she's from roughly fifteen years in the future for most of the cast, she is going to know things that other characters don't.
if there is anything specific you DO NOT want tej to tell your character, please fill out the form below. if there is anything you DO want her to tell your character, you can mention that as well. if i think of something that kind of falls between the two areas but might edge close to DO NOT, i will do my best to contact you. if i mention something and you realize that oh no, fuck, i forgot to list that, please do not hesitate to pm me/ping me on plurk/@ me on slackchat/however you want to get a hold of me to fix it.

can tej pick up on your character's emotional state through smell: Absolutely for both.
can tej pick up on any non-obvious/hidden emotions as described in bracket text: Also I am totally down with this as well. Ikki and Aral are both somewhat open books, but I'll be happy to add whenever things don't line up.
what about anything to do with their love life: Again, absolutely feel free. For Aral, you know the canon! HAVE FUN.
For Ikki he's the most virginy virgin ever, and not as much of a horndog as he played up. Extremely into girls, but probably has the occasional exception for really awesome wrestlers and mobile suit gundams.
can tej nullify your character's power(s) as it comes up in a thread?: Aral is also a null, so if they both get shut down I'd just find that hilarious. IKKI ... if it gets to the point where it's necessary he deserves it.
anything you DO NOT want your character to know: Nope, I'm pretty easy.
anything you DO want your character to find out: Nothing specific! ... Okay no. The idea that Ezar's deal post escobar is studied by Jacksonian school children I really want him to know.
